American author Harriett Jackson Brown Jr once said: “Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.”
That has always been my motto in life - I’ve always strived to give 100 percent dedication, creativity, and drive. Additionally, I have done voluntary work for various charities ever since I was little.
That is why when I joined EXANTE in November 2019, I knew that I’d found my ideal employer. I am encouraged and supported to achieve. I enjoy opening my laptop every morning and starting my day. I feel part of the team, part of the vision, and part of something that’s exciting and rapidly growing.
EXANTE also has a strong corporate social responsibility objective and its COVID-19 volunteer programme has allowed me to volunteer a few hours a week to help charities in need.
At EXANTE, work doesn’t feel like a job, it feels like a passion. That is why I have used my PR skills to help others in my spare time. I have also founded my own charity in the last year to support those with brain tumours.
I myself suffered a brain tumour and had a brain surgery in 2015. I never thought I’d work again. However, I’m lucky my health is back to normal and working for EXANTE allows me to have a healthy work–life balance.
I have recently been awarded a prestigious UK award for my fundraising and charity work and as a company I have managed to get EXANTE shortlisted for two Financial Adviser awards.
We are in exciting times and I cannot wait to see what we can achieve – both on a personal and professional note.
